Our hats are one-of-a-kind creations. Yet, we occasionally honor requests made by our customers.
We usually require two weeks to work on custom-made items. So a customer can expect to receive their product within three weeks.
They come from the feel of a fabric, or from seeing another product. Sometimes the design just comes to mind, and it sticks.
When you look at an outfit, and you think its pretty, but there’s something missing to make it complete. I have always been able to see what is missing. Now I have the opportunity to help others complete their ensemble with flair.
It depends on the need and the motivation. Some weeks I can produce three or four, and then others I produce one.
I enjoy making facinators. I am never sure where the design is going to go. I let the design come to life without any resistance from me.
I have seen a change in hat trends. I think that milliners are pushing the envelope and daring themselves to think and create masterpieces outside the box.
That is a tough question to answer. Each hat that I create is special to me in its own way. For some, it is the season in which I created it that brings back fond memories, and for others, it is the design. I can’t really say that I have a favorite. I like them all!
